I am very grateful of the great experience of the digital retreat in April. Ron and Ana are one of the best teachers in yoga asana as well as the philosophy. From the comfort of my own house, I learned a lot this weekend. Thank you for trying out this digital form of a retreat, it worked so well! The program was really challenging and deep in both the asanas as the very practical yoga philosophy. It brought me out of my comfort zone, but in a loving and light way, it touched me very much. You took great care of us and there was a lot of room for our own personal questions. It inspired me to work at myself from a positive perspective.

At the end of this first digital yoga retreat I can only express my gratitude. For me, it was perfect, to be able to take in so much knowledge from the comfort of my own home. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us in a fun yet professional and comprehensive way. Thank you for bringing me new personal insights, expanding my horizon and pushing me to the limits (and far beyond ??) of my comfort zone.

Hartelijk wil ik Ron en Ana bedanken voor deze allereerste Digital Yoga Retrait. Wat een mooie ervaring dit afgelopen weekend. Vanuit mijn eigen woonkamer diep in de pittige Asana's en de yoga filosofie mogen duiken. Met toeziend oog en bijbehorende feedback van zeer ervaren docenten. Veel ruimte voor interactie en het inbrengen van persoonlijke vraagstukken. Daarbij de aandacht voor het vasten toegespitst op de eigen dosha's. Met Ayurvedische voedingsadviezen en heerlijke recepten. Dit maakte het tot een waardige retraite ervaring. Het Engelstalige was ook geen probleem. Zo gewenst konden we in het Nederlands onze vragen stellen.

Nogmaals dank jullie wel voor het retreat. Het had een goed begin waarbij het direct persoonlijk werd door iedereen even toe te spreken over de dosha's. En het einde was ook perfect, met de savasana. :)

Ik kon me er niet zoveel van voorstellen zo'n digitaal weekend maar ik vond het echt heel fijn. Natuurlijk is het fijn om live een weekend te hebben waar je meer in gesprek kun en ook met anderen. Maar dit weekend, zoals Ana al zei, is toch heel open en persoonlijk. Doordat je thuis bent zit je inderdaad in je eigen veilige haven. En doordat je de anderen niet ziet maar alleen naar jullie kijkt is het net een prive weekend. Want natuurlijk gaat alles wat je zegt over mij ;-).

Thanks a lot for the nice and inspiring experience! Even with small children in the breaks around me it was a relaxing experience to do a yoga retreat at home. With many thanks to my husband but also to my state of mind caused by the combination of meditation, asana's, pranayama and the lectures.
I really liked to personal contact during the lectures, the idea that others where there but at the same time being alone in your own safe house worked well for me. The combination of lectures of the both of you was pleasant and I liked the creative way you did this. It was nice that you worked according to a theme, I enjoyed the topic and the lectures.

I feel every muscle in my body so that's good, haha. Also, a good reminder that I have to practice more! Nyah has been the centre of my universe that past 9 months (and the 9 months before her birth) and the asana's have moved to the background too much.
This weekend got my mind off the strange times we live in and it felt normal for a few days.

I was able to fully immerse myself in this digital retreat. You provided a very personal approach. It was just right for me to do this from my own home environment. It gave me the opportunity to really go inside, which is sometimes difficult when the social aspect of group events requires the necessary energy. I also felt more space in this way to ask questions and for emotional release.
The cooperation of the two of you gives a very nice warm and safe energy and it was felt throughout my house. Afterwards still. All in all, i found it very well organised. Many thanks for the warmth, humor, insights, wisdom, practices and challenges.

I experienced it as a ``good old`` session. One only Ron can come up with. :-) There was a good balance between all the elements. Personal coaching was done very well. The personal touch by Ron being able to comment and correct during the asana's, while following Ana, was very good. It really gave me the feeling that we were doing this together. I also really appreciated the class by Ana: clear way of explaining the asana's, gentle voice and approach. A good balance after the morning sessions. Being home gave me the opportunity to relax optimally in my own surroundings and to digest the lectures.

Ron is an inspirational source of Yoga. He has very extensive and thorough knowledge in the field of the entire Yoga path. So, not only the asanas (postures), but also philosophy, prānayāma and meditation. He is, like no other, capable of translating yoga philosophy into the practical situation in the here and now. This makes it possible for Yoga reach so much further than the yoga mat. Yoga is a way of life. Slowly but surely you become more familiar with this and make the practice your own. I experience it as an enrichment in my life.

Ron distinguishes himself not only by his knowledge, but also by his experience. Ron lives Yoga, 24/7. This is very much tangible and noticeable in the quality of the training.

As a teacher in training, I have been given a good foundation and I also benefited greatly on a personal level. The effect of Yoga on me is that I became more happy.

My environment noticed that too. After working days, unlike in the past, I come home more energetic. I started to feel more in my own power and to live more free. Free from physical tensions, free from emotional stress, free from fears and free from expectations that we think we have to meet. There is no better training on a professional and personal level.

Countryside in Zajezda near Ivanec is a place with a really wide range of natural diversity. There are a lot of hiking trails to Ivančica mountain (1061 m). The mountain is covered with thick forests. I enjoy breathtaking viewpoints on the way to the top, sound of streams, smell of intact nature rich in wild berries, flowers (i.e. there you can find biotopes of around 50 wild orchids), observing wild animals... Visit to Gaveznica, nearby fossil volcano with agate site, is very interesting too. If you are a fan of good food – this is the right place for you because all around the place you can meet friendly people who produce organic food according to the tradicional principles of growing.

In my 25 years of doing yoga in different venues in the United States (FL and NC, mainly), and Croatia I have met many yoga instructors. I would say that Ron Van der Post exeeds all of them in knowledge of the yoga science/philosophy and in practice of asanas. Yoga is a way of life, not just an exercise routine and Ron lives and shares it. Sometimes his approach is almost Spartan ;-) but this is where Ana comes in with her warmth and genuine care, on top of excellent organization.
I am certain I will attend their retreats again.

This was my first retreat - setting the bar very high for any other such events I may join in the future! The organization of the retreat was superb. Every question was answered and we really felt taken care of, while given enough space for ourselves. The schedule was packed, and while at first I thought it might be too much, I only wished the days could be longer so there could be even more. The lectures were brilliant, interesting and very interactive, so you could really get as much out of them as you put in, by way of questions, which were more than welcome. It was also kept at a down-to-earth level, so though some deep philosophical concepts were discussed, it was made relevant for our lives. The meditations were really nice-both the introductory phrases to lead you into it and the fact you could stay as long as you wanted. Finally, the asanas were crazy fun and challenging and at times frustrating when my ego got the better of me. I must emphasize doing the surya namaskars on khumbaka as an incredibly mind-blowing experience, after which a class with blindfolds was a pleasant walk in the park... And the shavasana by chakras, what a treat!

Ron and Ana are just the perfect combination for creating a yoga learning environment which would transmit the whole yoga experience in its true essence. Practise, breathing and meditation as connecting parts that lead to merging of body, mind and spirit.
